This service is ideal for someone who lives in the greater Seattle area because Long-Acting PrEP injections require in-person visits.

The Benefits of Long-Acting Injectable for PrEP

  • Convenience: The long-acting injectable for PrEP offers continuous HIV protection, now available in two options.
    • APRETUDE®: Our pharmacists will see you for an appointment, complete labs, and administer your injection every 2 months (about 6 appointments per year).
    • YEZTUGO®: Our pharmacists will see you for an appointment, complete labs, and administer your injections every 6 months (about 2 appointments per year).
  • Privacy: The long-acting injectable is given within the privacy of our clinic by our trusted pharmacist providers, eliminating any concern of others finding your PrEP medication.
  • Choice: Sometimes, oral PrEP medication can cause side effects that may lead to stopping PrEP. Others may self-reflect that their adherence to oral PrEP is less than ideal. If this describes your PrEP journey, then Long-Acting Injectable PrEP may be a good option for you.
